About Our Practice:
Dr. Earl C. A. Viernes of Tacloban City took his preparatory for medicine at the University of the Philippines, which he graduated BS in Physical Therapy in 1981. He received his medical degree from the RTR College of Medicine in 1985. He first worked as a member of the medical corps in the Armed Forces of the Philippines before taking his formal training in General Surgery at the Eastern Visayas Regional Medical Center, Tacloban City from 1988-1992. He is a Diplomate by the Philippine Board of Surgery and a Fellow of the Philippine College of Surgeons, Philippine Society of General Surgeons and the Surgical Oncology Society of the Philippines. He is also a Certified Primary Care Physician by the Philippine Academy Family Physicians. He is presently the Head of the Department of Surgery, Bethany Hospital, Tacloban City.
