Khawar Siddique, MD is Associate Director of Neurological Spine Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Institute for Spinal Disorders.
Dr. Siddique's clinical and research interests include minimally invasive spine surgery (percutaneous fusions and decompressions), primary and metastatic spinal tumors, and kyphoplasty (percutaneous insertion of cement) for vertebral fractures and tumors.
Board eligible for the American Board of Neurological Surgeons, Dr. Siddique is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, American Association for Cancer Research and Congress of Neurological Surgeons. He has written several articles for peer-reviewed publications, including the International Journal of Oncology, Journal of Neurosurgery and Oncogene.
Dr. Siddique received his bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, where he also completed residencies in general surgery and neurological surgery. Dr. Siddique fulfilled a fellowship in spinal surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
