Specialize in minimally invasive diagnostic and treatment approaches to back and neck pain. See all types of chronic pain syndromes. Dr. Barna completed his residency at Brigham & Women's Hospital (Anesthesia),
followed by specialized fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management at
the Massachusetts General Hospital. He is recognized as a leading expert in
interventional pain management and has written numerous articles and book
chapters on topics which include chronic non-cancer pain, reflex sympathetic
dystrophy (RSD), sympathetic blockade, discography, IDET, implantable
intrathecal pumps, myofascial pain, epidural steroid injection, and
non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
Dr. Barna's practice serves residents throughout Massachusetts, including
