Dr. Maywood specializes in minimally invasive treatments for spinal disorders. He is the Medical Director and Director of Pain Management at Coast Surgery Center. Furthermore, he teaches intradiscal techniques including the Nucleoplasty and disc decompression procedure, and is a Regional Instructor for various Implantation Courses on Spinal Cord Stimulation and Narcotic Infusion Pumps, and is a regional expert on the treatment of Complex Regional pain syndrome.
Dr. Maywood has performed over 24,000 injections and is regarded as one of the premier pain practioners in Southern California. His state of the art center performs both diagnostic and theraputic procedures to identify a condition, and then providing solutions to treat that specific problem.
Dr. Maywood is a Qualified Medical Examiner and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
