Rods, Screws and Cage Fixation Stabilize Spine
This post-operative x-ray was taken after a 2-level vertebrectomy (surgical removal of one or more vertebral bodies). The view is from front to back and shows rod, screw and cage fixation to stabilize the spine. The surgery was performed from the patient's back (posterior) and involved T2-L4. The patient's pre-operative diagnosis is Pierre Robin syndrome (PRS) and kyphoscoliosis.
