EBI® VueLock® Anterior Cervical Plate System

The VueLock® cervical plate system designed by EBI is implanted to stabilize the neck. The plates are low profile, which means the device lays flatter against spinal structures and minimizes irritation to soft tissues (Fig. 1 and 2). The cervical plates are pre-contoured to suit the patient's individual anatomy.

The components of the VueLock® plate system are made from titanium alloy, which is strong and compatible to x-ray and other types of imaging studies (e.g. CT Scan).

The screw and locking mechanism is simple and efficient. Variable angle screw placement gives the spine surgeon flexibility to precisely position the screw. This is demonstrated in Figures 3 and 4 below. Notice how flat the screw head locks against the plate.

Once the screw head passes under the integral ring, the screw is locked. No additional locking components are required.
