Doctor Eidelson leads his audience through a discussion about lumbar (low back) spinal stenosis, osteoporosis and spinal vertebral fractures, arthritis and osteoarthritis, and disorders affecting the neck (cervical) spine.

Throughout his Spine Symposium, Dr. Eidelson uses many anatomical pictures, replicas of the spine, and x-rays (radiographs) to make a complicated subject easy to understand. Here you will learn about diagnostic tests, prevention, and new treatments. Although Dr. Eidelson is an orthopaedic spine surgeon, he realizes that fewer than 95% of back pain patients will need surgery. Therefore, he provides much information about non-surgical therapies.
