Neckpro™ Overdoor Cervical (Neck) Traction Device

The Chattanooga Group's Neckpro™ is a home over-the-door unit for cervical traction. Cervical traction may be used to relieve neck pain associated with disc herniation, osteoarthritis, cervical radiculopathy (e.g. pinched nerve), fibromyalgia, whiplash, and tension headaches. Further, cervical traction may relieve muscle tension and spasm in the upper back, shoulders, and neck. Cervical traction gently lifts the weight of the head off the neck anatomy and may temporarily decompress pinched and inflamed nerves.

Neckpro™ is unlike conventional over-the-door traction systems that utilize a bag of water. Systems utilizing a bag of water require the patient to undergo a period of trial and error to determine the right amount of water to equal the needed weight for traction to be effective.

Neckpro™ couples a computer designed, precision-made compression spring with a unique ratcheting device that delivers a more precise amount of cervical traction tension. Traction tension is delivered gradually and allows the patient to monitor and keep track of the settings used for the best outcome.
