Aesculap® CCR: Caspar Cervical Retractor System

Retractors have been used by surgeons for years. The benefits of retractor use include: ensures stable access to the surgical site, provides good visibility, and enables the surgeon to perform the operation without hand retraction.

Pictured below is the Caspar Cervical Retractor from Aesculap, Inc. that is part of a system of retracting instruments that includes a separate retractor for use during cervical spine surgery.
