Correlation Between Vertebral Height and Anthropometric Measurements in Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis

MRI measurement of the vertebral heights and the corresponding anthropometric parameters of 81 adolescent girls with idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) and 30 normal controls were compared. Sitting height, radius length, total anterior and posterior vertebral heights were found to be significantly different between subjects with AIS of different curve severities vs. normal controls (p<0.05).
