FDA Approved Uses
- Used to treat bone and joint infections, genitourinary tract infections, otitis media, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, skin and soft tissue infections and urinary tract infections caused by susceptible organisms.
Note:
Culture and susceptibility tests should be performed before and
during therapy, and renal function tests whenever indicated.
Contraindications
Any of the following may be reason to choose a different drug.
Inform your doctor before starting therapy.
