Dosage and Administration
Dosages may require modification to adjust for individual sensitivities and associated medical conditions.
Adults Under 60
650mg of acetaminophen and 100 mg of propoxyphene napsylate taken by mouth every 4-6 hours as needed for pain.
Adults 60 and Over
Reduced dosage or an increase in dosage interval may be needed. Consult your physician.
Maximum Dosage Recommendations
Adults: 600 mg of propoxyphene napsylate and 4000mg of acetaminophen per day.
Usual Duration of Use
The length of therapy varies depending on the patient's need.
Stop using when pain no longer exists.
If You Miss a Dose
This is taken as needed for pain. Do not double dose.
Storage
Keep all medications out of the reach of children
Store in a tightly closed container at room temperature in a dry, dark place. Do not store in the bathroom. Moisture can cause the drug to break down. "Health at your fingertips"
