Thoracic back broken/stenosis

Started by Young on 03/02/2012 5:27pm

Hi, I have Osteoarthritis, Degenerative Disc., Cervical Stenosis, Herniated Disc., and I have been told that I have two or three broken/cracked vertebra's in my thoracic back along with stenosis. Places I have spoken to about getting surgery have said they can not do surgery on the thoracic back at this time. Can anyone tell me why? Is it an area that is not able to be fixed? Is that it? Or have I just not run across the right surgeon or hospital yet? Because this is where my major pain is that is keeping me from literary being able to do many things, or live my life. I would like to know the truth, for I have been seeking help for years and I feel like I am beating my head up against a brick wall most of the time. Plus I am getting much worse and I fear that if something isn't done before long I am going to need a wheelchair. Please if anyone can shine a light on this question, I would deeply appreciate it. If there is a place I can get help, please let me know where, or whom I need to contact. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, for your concern, and for your help.
Sincerely, Terri
