Is surgery the only option for my spondylolisthesis?

From: kinsley - on 09/16/2010 11:50am

I have been diagnosed with spondylolisthesis with severe bilateral lateral spinal stenosis, unstable facet joints with broad base disc protrusion in L3-4. They want to do a L3-4 decompression, instrumented fusion, TLIF with local bone graft. I am in a lot of pain and my life style is extremely compromised. I did the facet steroid injections along with ablation. Is this a safe easy surgery?
