Orthotics - back pain relief?

Started by Laurelee on 06/09/2010 11:13pm

I take Chiropractic treatments every week. I have improved but feel I have reached a plateau in terms of getting better.

Just recently, I walked 10 KM around my city and halfway through I was in pain!! Another chiropractor suggested I needed orthotics. (I wore a good running shoe that day). Can this be true?

I do have scoliosis and I believe that is what is causing some of my problems to mostly my right side of my body. What do others think about this? I would like not to have to see the chiro so often.

Stress is the biggest cause of my back pain from my shoulder to lower back. Any tips?

Have you been evaluated by a certified Corrective Exercise Specialist? Do you stretch? What other forms of exercise do you do? Any Pilates or yoga? Respond to fitpropat2409@bellsouth.net
