I told them no but they said my cord had all drop and that i will be in seroius pains but since then i have not be sufering with any back pain. Resently i had a musel Pull on my neck i did another ex ray; but to my supprise the doctor also said up by my neck my cord was compressed and that she does not understand how i have been working. she even suggested that i was only up and moving because of my musel, she said by the state of my spinnal cord i should not be able to walk, This really scares me i will like to know if there is a condition that the spinnal cord is Shaped differently but still in good condition . the space that exist inbetween each cord has been closed but i am in no pain i just want some one to let me know that i am okay or iam waitting for a total crash

Les paddy,

Sorry to hear that your spine is being compressed.
Don't know if not feeling any pain is good or bad.
Do you have any numbness or tingling in your extremities? Like your arms and hands. Or your legs and feet?

Since you are scared, and rightfully so, you need to get a copy of your doctor's report, mri scans and / or x-rays.
And in my opinion, get a second opinion. Every dr. X-ray tech., reads things differently. Either from an orthopedic spine dr.,a neurologist or a neurosurgeon.

One time I was lead to believe I had a heart attack. They put me in the hospital.
Had me on statin drugs. When I saw the cardiologist, he looked things over and said no I did not have a heart attack. But he did find that one of my smaller arteries was starting to get narrow. Very little plaque but if I started eating better, and exercise more, it wouldn't get any worse. That was 30 years ago. It was a relief. They keep an eye on it, but so far. So good. And, no statin drugs.

It's important to tell your concerns to your doctor. Ask questions. No question is stupid. And if you don't understand something, ask them to show you.

I found a very good chiropractor who when I brought my mri's in, sat down with me, in front of the computer, and explained everything He and I was seeing. He told me patients deserve to know what's going on with their bodies. He put it in language I could understand. I am a show me person.

I left there, for the first time, knowledgeable of what was happening to my spine and what he could and couldn't do for me. Both experiences had me feel that I was in control. Because I knew what was going on with MY body. It is a stress reliever.

I pray you find the right doctor who can explain to you what's going on with your spine. And that you find the answers you are looking for.

Let us know how you're doing. We are here for you!
God Bless you
