I've been looking at what causes this,but my problem is I have restless legs bad.So what do I do now?
You can Google piriformis syndrome for more info. I suffer from this too -- the piriformis is a small muscle deep in the buttocks, even deeper than the gluts. The sciatic nerve runs through it. Tightness or spasms in the muscle can affect the nerve, too. Best thing I've found is stretching exercises for the piriformis. There are specific ways to stretch it. I went to physical therapy to learn how to do it, but you can find exercises online. A physical therapist or massage therapist can also work on the muscle to relieve muscle spasms which are excruciatingly painful!! Doing these stretches daily may reduce the rls, too. It did for me.
