Multiple spine surgeries and chronic pain

Started by BriannasMommy on 05/29/2012 11:40am

What is anyone using for chronic pain? My Dr. REFUSES to assist me with this issue because I refused her plan for me to use LYRICA. Anything that says it can cause false hearing, increased risk of suicide is NOTHING I will be using. Can anyone give me some ideas for my new dr next week?

try using *Generic MS contin 30 mg E.R . After my *insurance rejected Oxycontin / *due to
the high cost to them , i asked a friend - surgical nurse who said to ask the pharmacist about
generic drug for chronic pain in my lower back ? Have had two back surgeries - Laminectomy
L-4,5 , S-1 w / Fusion , left with severe chronic back pain 24 / 7 . No painkiller will entirely
eliminate pain , but this Generic - *Morphine sulfate by Endo Labs has helped over anything else .
Just to note : Anything made by Millinkourt or Rhodes pharm. doesn't seem to measure up .
I tried both in the beginning , but both failed > lots of same complaints i hear . Good Luck .

I also have had multiple spine surgeries and steroid injections and still have chronic pain. I feel like the Lyrica has helped me immensely with my sciatic nerve pain. I have not had the side effects- that they must warn you about, but are unlikely. When your pain becomes unbearable, you may reconsider. I can't stand being on Loratab or other narcotics and nothing else has helped me. Good luck!
