Lumbar spine cyst

Started by rodisorr on 04/14/2013 2:54pm

Dear Doctor,

My name is Rodica Hagiu, 32 years old, 50 kg and 1,67 m height. A few weeks ago I did a lumbar spine MRI which resulted in following diagnosis (March, 2013):
Extensive intrarahidian cystic system situated between S1 and S5, extended into the sacral holes and respectively into the pelvic through the holes S2 and S3. It has 83/25/57 mm dimension and it is septal. It determines atrophy through the pressure of sacral. The cystic portion from the pelvic has connections with uterus and right annex. Incidental, extensive uterus with tumor system and fluid in large amounts into the Douglas bottom bag.
(I mention that 3 years ago my right leg was palsied for a couple of hours.)
I would like to kindly ask you what can be done in this situation, is it any treatment or the possibility for a surgery without major risks?

Thank you very much for your time and I’m looking forward for your recommendation.
Best regards,
Rodica Hagiu
