Pelvic Tilt / Tight SI Joint

From: MrT - on 06/11/2012 2:34pm

Hi,

I've been diagnosed by a very reputable proffesional with a pelvic tilt on my left of 6 degress (which is normal), however my right pelvic tilt is 0 degress. I've also been advised that my right pelvis looks tight and almost locked up. Along with this I have what seems like a tight/sore hamstring, calf and glute again all in my right side. I assume the right pelvis which has no tilt i.e. 0 degress is referred to as posterior, however my left at 6 degress is correct so does mean a lateral pelvic tilt. However is this lack of tilt actually my right SI joint locking up on the right.

I've had this now for over 3 years after slipping (not falling) down the stairs which jarred my right handside.

Some clarification/theories on the above would be great.

Many thanks
