Herniated disc pain...heat pack or ice pack? Soft or Hard bed? Acupuncture?

Started by Stan Stone on 03/13/2012 9:26pm

Just wondered what works for everyone... if anything... like using a heat pack or a ice pack... if it wasn't for oxycontin and percoset life would be very miserable .... does laying on your stomach and pushing up with your hands and arm help for a stretching exercise? kind of a pushup keeping your belt to the ground.... has anyone ever had any luck with Acupuncture? Since I sleep 4 or 5 hours a night... should we be using a hard bed or a super soft bed? Someone told me drinking lots of water can also help... Any kind of diet that would help us? Can anyone advise on any or all of these ideas? Just would like to know what works for you.... Thanks very much for any other ideas you can advise me of... Stan In Iowa
