i just want to say. . .
I am no stranger to pain as I have suffered long and often with back pain, but the stories I have read here inspire me to tears--literally. Thank you for sharing your stories. I am humbled by all of those older and younger (god forbid) then myself who have been yolked with pain beyond measure--truly it makes me feel like a child among adults. I thought I had problems, but I realize how fortunate I still am, and I sympathize and pray with all the worst ones here. I hope you find peace and joy even if it is fleeting and/or brief moments. Let us all make the most of our moments and our lives.
I am reminded of a famous quote by a philosopher, I hope this helps someone get through their pain as I often think of it in my darkest hours of pain: "The person who has a "why" to live can bear almost any "how". For me the "why" is my family, and being able to work and support them.
Thank you for sharing, I am so humbled by all of you. I wish I could take away everyones pain, but I can't.
