HI kez81
No, the only similarity between ambulatory spinal unloading and inversion treatment is that they both provide spinal unloading. Ambulatory spinal unloading provides the spinal unloading throughout the full day and allows you to carry on all your normal daily routines. If you want to email me directly at ghakonso@pneuvation.com I can give you more information and direct you to appropriate sites that show and describe the treatment modality.

Hi
Varies between people. For some, you place ice on their back and they get very stiff and tight and this increases local tension., for others it significantly decreases the nerve impuses, relaxes the muscles and works great for nerve pain.

If you are using ice, try over back and over top of buttock on 1 side. Always wrap in something so you dont get an ice burn.

If it doesnt help - well then heat is the answer for you. Same sites.
All the best.
