Manipulation Under Anesthesia
Does anyone have any questions about this procedure. Its safety, effectivness. What conditions respond best to it ?

What type of anesthesia is used local, general? Why would it be necessary? Is it to relax the nerves or the muscles? Towards what procedures would this apply?
How safe is this procedure? I had this procedure on my right shoulder 4 years ago. I was fine after the manipulation. Then I have another problem w/ my shoulder & neck my doctor wants to perform another manipulation surgery but I changed my mind because I don't want to go through another surgery unless I really have to. Is manipulation going to help me if I have bulging disk or pinched nerves?
