i had the shots, a series, and it did no good; however, we are all different. my surgeon told me about the x-stop. it was just ok'd by the USDA. i had sciatica and stenosis in the lumbar region of my spine. i too was using a walker. ask your doctor about the "x-stop" my sciatica was gone immediately after surgery. did the rehab thing, and i am walking normal. please, mention it to your doctor.

I have been having those injections for over two years now. It has been my experience that they only give me releif for a few days, I was having them monthly before I finally had surgery in march 2010. I felt pretty good for a month or so after the three months of recovery from surgery and now I am worse than I was before the surgery. I have however talked to plenty of people who say they work great for them. I guess everyone is different but I can say they help for a couple of days for me.
