My practice consists of the conservative management of spine conditions which include but are not limited to disc herniations, degenerative disc disease, sciatica, radiculopathy, sprains/strains, facet syndrome, sacroiliac syndrome, myofascial and muscular pain syndromes, fibromyalgia, arthritis.
A complete history and physical examination is performed and X-rays (if necessary) can be performed on site. Additional onsite services include: EMG/NCV nerve testing, Computerized Dynamic Posturography, massage therapy and acupuncture by a board certified MD. Any outside diagnostic testing performed is reviewed by Dr. Dontino including MRI, CT scans and EMG. The office treatment consists of standard chiropractic adjustments/manipulation along with adjunctive physical therapy modalities that include ultrasound, electric muscle stimulation and traction. Non-surgical spinal decompression therapy and ATM-Pro 2 spinal rehabilitation is also utilized.
Dr. Dontino is Board Certified in Chiropractic Neurology and a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management.
