GELCO Spine & Sports Medicine is a multi-discipline practice with orthopedics, acupuncture, homeopathy and chiropractic. Dr. Gelfound developed the center in 2001 and has a vision to bring the best quality care to the Antelope Valley. Dr. Gelfound is a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians, a member of the USA Judo Sports Medicine Commitee and has participated in the care of youth, high school and elite athletes. Dr. Gelfound completed an internship at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs in 2001. Dr. Gelfound applies the priciples of functional movement patterns to the treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries. Dr. Gelfound is a Qualified Medical Evaluator for the State of California and has current training in the AMA whole person impairment ratings. Dr. Gelfound is a Graduate of Southern California University of Health Sciences. Following his graduation, Dr. Gelfound became the lead instructor for rehabilitation within the physiotherapy department.
