STEWART G. EIDELSON, MD

Stewart G. Eidelson, MD is an Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeon with offices in Boca Raton and Boynton Beach, Florida.

After graduation from Drew University in Madison, New Jersey in 1972, he attended Thomas Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Following graduation in 1976, Dr. Eidelson served his internship at Metropolitan Hospital in New York.

He completed his orthopaedic surgical residences at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania and the Alfred I. duPont Institute in Wilmington, Delaware. Later, Dr. Eidelson trained under the direction of Dr. Arthur Steffee at the Cleveland Spine Center.

Dr. Eidelson is keenly interested in outcome studies relating to spinal surgical procedures in the elderly. This focus led him to help found the Palm Beach Orthopaedic and Spinal Research Foundation located in Boca Raton, Florida. He is also the author of "Save Your Aching Back", a layman's guide to Back Pain and surgery.

Dr. Eidelson is one of the founders of SpineUniverse and a member of the SpineUniverse Editorial Board.
