Dr.
Kaiser is a neurosurgeon practicing out of the Neurological Institute
of New York and a faculty member at Columbia University in New
York.
Dr. Kaiser
received his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine
in New Haven, CT, completed his internship from the Department
of Surgery, Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons,
Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York and his residency
from the Department of Neurological Surgery, Columbia University
College of Physicians & Surgeons, Columbia Presbyterian Medical
Center in New York. He also completed a neurosurgical spine fellowship
from The Emory Clinic, Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
In addition, Dr. Kaiser was a Post Doctoral Research Fellow at
Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York.
Included
among his accomplishments, Dr. Kaiser has received various prestigious
awards including The Elsberg Award from New York Society of Neurosurgery,
The Peter F. Curran Thesis Award and The American Heart Association
Research Fellowship from Yale University School of Medicine.
In addition, while in medical school, Dr. Kaiser was a Farr Scholar
and Class President.
Dr. Kaiser
is also a member of numerous professional organizations including
the Joint Section on Spine & Peripheral Nerve, the American Association
of Neurological Surgery, the Congress of Neurological Surgery,
and a past member of the Society of Neuroscience and the American
Medical Student Association.
To date,
Dr. Kaiser has published over 30 articles and abstracts in such
professional, peer-reviewed journals as Neurosurgical Focus and
the Journal of Neurosurgery. Dr. Kaiser has also contributed
to numerous medical textbooks and has made a variety of presentations
at major medical meetings.
Dr. Kaiser
is married and lives in New Jersey.
