Doctor Nitin Bhatia, a fellowship trained spine surgeon, serves as Director
of the UC Irvine Spine Center. He has expertise in all areas of spinal pathology
including spinal stenosis, disc herniations, spine trauma, and scoliosis. Dr.
Bhatia is active in multiple research projects including federally funded spinal
cord injury research. Most of all, Dr. Bhatia gives his patients compassionate
and understanding care.
When surgery is necessary, Dr. Bhatia uses state of the art techniques including
minimally invasive surgery, endoscopic discectomy, percutaneous fusions, and
kyphoplasty. Dr. Bhatia is active in multiple research projects including federally
funded spinal cord injury research.
The UC Irvine Spine Center is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for

Grove, Fountain Valley, Santa Ana, Fullerton, Westminster, Huntington Beach,
Costa Mesa, Long Beach, Anaheim, Brea, Mission Viejo, Temecula, Fallbrook, Los
Angeles, and Riverside. Patients from outside these communities are welcome
at UC Irvine as well. International patients are encouraged to contact us for
