Doctor Warren
D. Parker is a Board Certified neurosurgeon who has practiced
in the Texas Medical Center in Houston since 1975. He was born
and raised in Eagle Lake, Texas, and graduated from the University
of Texas at Austin and the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
Following his internship at Ben Taub Hospital and The Methodist
Hospitals, he served as a Captain and Flight Surgeon in the United
States Army from 1969 to 1971 and was stationed in Korea. His
neurosurgery training was completed at Baylor College of Medicine
affiliated hospitals in 1975.
He is a partner of the Neurosurgical
Group of Texas, which is a five-doctor group practicing at The
Methodist and St. Luke's Hospitals. He is a Clinical Assistant
Professor at the Baylor College of Medicine and is involved in
neurosurgery resident training. He recently co-authored "Outpatient
Surgical Treatment of Cervical Radiculopathy", which appeared
in the July 1997 issue of The Journal of Neurosurgery.
He is a member of the Harris
County Medical Society, the Houston Surgical Society, the Houston
Neurological Society, and the American Association of Neurological
Surgeons. He has been on The Methodist Hospital Neurosurgery
Quality Assurance Committee for the past ten years.
