Doctor Paul McCormick is Professor of Clinical Neurosurgery, Department of Neurosurgery at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He is also the Medical Director for the Columbia-Presbyterian Comprehensive Spine Center. He has received many honors and awards: Harvey Nova Outstanding Resident Award, Award for Academic Excellence Columbia University School of Public Health, America's Top Doctors and Best Doctors in New York.

Dr. McCormick is a member of the American Academy of Neurological Surgeons, Society of University Neurosurgeons (SUNS), Faculty American College of Surgeons (FACS), American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS), Wisconsin and Milwaukee County Medical Society, New York State Neurosurgical Society, New Jersey State Neurological Society, Bergen County Medical Society, Medical Society of the State of New York, and the American Medical Association.

He has more than 70 published peer reviewed articles, abstracts and invited presentations, several book reviews and more than 80 published comments on peer reviewed articles.
