Doctor Edward L. Maurer is a post-graduate faculty member in Radiology at the National University of Health Sciences. In addition, Dr. Maurer is in private practice at the Kalamazoo Chiropractic Center in Michigan.

Dr. Maurer received a Doctorate of Chiropractic (D.C.) from Lincoln Chiropractic College. He studied post-graduate coursework in Roentgenology at Lincoln College and earned a diplomate status from the American Chiropractic Board of Radiology (D.A.C.B.R.). He has fellowships in both Radiology and Chiropractic.

Dr. Maurer has served in numerous leadership roles on chiropractic college and professional association boards. Dr. Maurer is a member of the American Chiropractic Association (A.C.A), the Council on Diagnostic Imaging of the A.C.A., the American Chiropractic College of Radiology, Canadian College of Chiropractic Radiologists, and the American Public Health Association.

He is author of three textbooks and over 70 articles for academic and field journals. Currently, Dr. Maurer serves as Editor-In-Chief of the ACA Press Publishing and has served as an Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics; the American Journal of Chiropractic Medicine; and the D.C. Tracts periodical.
