John M Shutack, MD, Chief Resident of Neurosurgery at the Medical College of Virginia was awarded the SpineUniverse Patient Article Award. He earned his Medical Degree from Temple University, in Philadelphia and a Bachelors of Science in Vertebrate Physiology from Penn State University State College. His academic interests include all aspects of spine and intracranial surgery.
