About Kevin R. O’Neill , MD, MS

Dr. Kevin O’Neill is a fellowship trained orthopaedic spine surgeon in practice at OrthoIndy in Indianapolis, IN.

Prior to receiving his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine, Dr. O’Neill received a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana and Master of Science in mechanical engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology at Cambridge, MA.

At Massachusetts General Hospital, he was a research assistant in biomedical engineering. He then completed his residency in the department of orthopaedic surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Dr. O’Neill advanced his training in a spine fellowship program at Washington University in St. Louis, MO under the tutelage of Keith Bridwell, MD, Lawrence G.Lenke, MD, and K. Daniel Riew, MD.

Dr. O’Neill is the recipient of numerous honors and awards and belongs to many prestigious professional societies, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), American Orthopaedic Association (AOA) Emerging Leaders Program, and North American Spine Society (NASS).

Furthermore, Dr. O’Neill has published spinal research in peer-reviewed journals and extensively presented his study findings at major meetings in the United States and Canada.
