About Douglas Won, MD
Dr. Won is the director and founder of SpineCARE located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area in TX. He is a dual fellowship trained and board certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in minimally invasive spine surgery; including, endoscopic and laser technology to treat disorders affecting the spinal column. In addition, Dr. Won is a clinical assistant professor at the UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas.
Dr. Won received his medical degree at the University of Texas in Galveston. He completed an orthopaedic residency at Washington University in St. Louis, MO. At William Beaumont Spine Center in Royal Oak, MI, Dr. Won completed a fellowship program in orthopaedic spine.
He is a member of many prestigious spine societies, including the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (SMISS), North American Spine Society (NASS), and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS).
Furthermore, Dr. Won is involved in research to advance spine treatment. He has published his research findings in peer-review journals and has contributed materials to textbooks. He lectures internationally on all aspects of spinal disorders and treatment.
