Dr. Jorgensen graduated  from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA with his medical degree. At William Beaumont Army Medical Center at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso, he completed an orthopaedic surgical residency. Dr. Jorgensen served as a staff orthopaedic surgeon at Bayne Jones Army Community Hospital in Fort Polk, LA before commencing his fellowship at Rush University.

The patient is a 50-year-old male with end-stage renal disease (ESRD), on dialysis, and presents with a 10-year history of low back pain. He was a successful engineer. However, he had to go on disability starting two years ago due to progression of his symptoms.
