About Dr. Nima Salari, MD
Doctor Nima Salari is a fellowship trained Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon with specialized training in non-operative and surgical treatment of pathologic conditions affecting the spine. Dr. Salari treats degenerative disc disease, scoliosis, spinal deformities, infections, and tumors. He has an interest in minimally invasive spine surgery, tissue sparing approaches, and image guided technologies.
Dr. Salari received his medical degree from Temple University, where he earned membership in the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Society. Named Chief Resident, Dr. Salari completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He continued his training by completing a spine surgery fellowship at Stanford University.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Salari has been involved in various orthopaedic research projects involving the musculoskeletal system. He is a member of many professional organizations, including the North American Spine Society (NASS) and American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS).
