About Dan S. Cohen, MD
Dan S. Cohen, MD is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in spinal surgery. He has lectured extensively throughout the United States and Europe on surgical techniques. He is also involved with development of new spinal innovations.
He is actively involved with the residency program at the University of Miami-Jackson Memorial Hospital with care of spinal cord injury patients.
Dr. Cohen earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida at Gainesville. His degree in medicine was from the University of Miami School of Medicine. He trained in Orthopaedics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. His fellowship in spinal surgery was at the Ranchos Los Amigos Hospital in Los Angeles.
