Paul E. Kraemer, MD is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with Indiana Spine Group specializing in spine surgery. An adult female began to experience neck pain shortly after a dental procedure. Because she was already taking a narcotic for chronic back pain, she saw her pain management physician. Thereafter, she quickly developed a kyphotic deformity.

Congenital Kyphosis and Difficulty Walking

A 17-year-old male with mild developmental delay has increasing back pain over the last year. He has a long standing deformity, and he and his parents think it has worsened. In the past few months he has begun to have some difficulty with walking quickly.
