He completed a general surgical internship at Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Virginia, as a Ship’s Doctor in general surgery aboard the USS Virginia, and at Yale-New Haven Hospital in Connecticut where he finished a neurosurgical residency. During his residency, Dr. Partington served as a research scientist at Yale University School of Medicine at New Haven, CT.
