About Don Stover, PT, OCS, Cert MDT

Don Stover opened his own practice in May 2007. He has been an Oklahoma licensed physical therapist since 1994. He is certified through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) as a clinical specialist in orthopaedic physical therapy. His entire career has been focused on outpatient orthopaedic physical therapy, with a special interest in the spine. Don was the first physical therapist in the Oklahoma City metro area to become credentialed in the McKenzie Method (aka MDT), an approach which has allowed him to effectively and efficiently manage hundreds of patients with mechanical spine and extremity conditions.

He has been a clinical instructor for Oklahoma University Health Science Center (OUHSC) College of Allied Health since 1997. He has been an adjunct instructor for OUHSC College of Allied Health spinal dysfunction and advanced spine courses since 2003.

Don lives in Southwest Oklahoma City with his wife Kelly, and two children Alston and Elle. He enjoys exercise, fishing, and watching his children participate in sports. He is an instructor at US Central Tae Kwon Do, where he holds a 3rd degree black belt.
