About Karlyn L. Grimes, RD
Karlyn L. Grimes has a dual Master's degree in nutrition and exercise physiology from Boston University, a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Colgate University, and is a registered dietitian with the American Dietetic Association.
She currently teaches in the Math/Science department at Babson College in Wellesley, MA and is the dietetic internship coordinator for the Simmons College Nutrition Department. Additionally, Karlyn develops and presents sports nutrition and health promotion workshops for various organizations in and around the Boston area, including the John C. Stalker Institute of Food and Nutrition, the Massachusetts Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, and the Coalition Organization for Health Education in Schools.
She also maintains a private nutrition and exercise counseling practice. Karlyn's areas of expertise include Nutrition and Exercise Physiology Education, Sports Nutrition, Weight Control and Vegetarian Nutrition.
