Ron Grassi, DC is fellowship trained and licensed to practice chiropractic medicine in the State of Florida and board qualified in chiropractic orthopaedics. Dr. Grassi has more than 20 years experience specializing in the non-surgical and differential diagnosis of neuro-musculoskeletal disorders of the neck, back, and extremities; motor vehicle trauma; and musician injuries.
Dr. Grassi received a BS in biology/chemistry and academic honors at the University of Miami, Coral Gables, FL, and attended the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital School of Nuclear Medicine in Miami, FL where he became a Qualified Nuclear Medicine Tech. At the National Chiropractic College, Chicago, IL, Dr. Grassi received a BS degree in Human Biology and earned a DC degree. He completed an Internship at Chicago General Health Center. He graduated magna cum laude and received an MS in Biomechanical Trauma from Lynn University, Boca Raton, FL. Further, Dr. Grassi completed a fellowship in spinal manipulation under anesthesia at the Surgical Center of Boca Raton, FL and Texas Chiropractic College. Further, Dr. Grassi is accredited by the American College of Forensic Examiners International.
Dr. Grassi is an active member of many professional societies, including the American Board of Forensic Medicine and Fellow of the American College of Forensic Examiners (Biomechanical Trauma Division), and Florida Chiropractic Physicians Association.
In 1986, Dr. Grassi began private practice in Jupiter, FL, and since has been an Independent Medical Consultant for major law firms, national insurance companies, and the State of Florida. He was a Florida State Expert Witness as designated by the Department of Professional Regulation and Medical Consultant for the State of Florida Division of Workers' Compensation. He received an appointment as SUPERDOC by Chief Judge Florida Division of Workers' Compensation in Tallahassee, FL.
In addition, Dr. Grassi is on the Editorial Review Board for The American Journal of Pain Management (AJPMONLINE.com), The Forensic Examiner (ACFEI.com), and is the author of "Improved Lumbar Range of Motion following Manipulation under Anesthesia (MUA)," his master's degree thesis. Dr. Grassi is the founder and active supporter of Physicians4Musicians.com; a website dedicated to musician health and wellness.
