About Michael W. Hasz, MD
Dr. Hasz graduated with honors from St. John's University, MN, in 1982. He received his medical degree in 1986 from the University of Minnesota, where he was introduced into the honor societies of Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha.
Dr. Hasz completed his general surgery internship and orthopaedic residency in Detroit, MI, in 1991. In 1992 he completed a spinal surgery fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI. Prior to joining the Virginia Spine Institute, Dr. Hasz served as chairman of the Orthopaedic Surgery Department and as Director of Spinal Surgery at Malcolm Grow Medical Center, Andrews AFB, MD.
Dr. Hasz is a clinical instructor and an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Uniformed Services Health Science University in Bethesda, MD.
