Dr. Zigler completed a fellowship in spine surgery and spinal trauma at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, OH. He completed an orthopaedic residency and was named Chief Resident at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York.

Dr. Zigler completed his general surgical residency at the Long Island Jewish - Hillside Medical Center also in New York. Dr. Ziger received a Doctor of Medicine degree graduating with honors, cum laude, from SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY. He received a Bachelor of Science with Distinction from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.
