About Gregory Gilreath, PAC

Gregory Gilreath, PAC has more than 40 years of medical experience, 30 years of which has been dedicated to orthopaedic spine surgery.

A former native of Cincinnati, OH, and graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Mr. Gilreath received degrees in zoology, psychology, and surgical assisting technology. At the Mayfield Neurological Institute in Cincinnati, he was trained in neurological procedures. Mr. Gilreath also trained and functioned with the US Army Medical Corps.

The Cage

The cage is used primarily in the lumbar spine as a disc replacement spacer and is used in pairs - inserted one on the right side of the disc space and the other on the left to give good lateral support.
