Nortriptyline (Pamelor)
Pamelor is the brand name for nortriptyline. This prescription medication is
a tricyclic anti-depressant used to treat depression and panic disorder. Depression
may affect patients with back or neck pain, especially when pain is chronic.
Nortriptyline works by increasing the amounts of certain natural substances
in the brain needed to maintain mental balance.
